4.0 / 5 · 5 traveler reviews
Belize Family Adventure: Three Wonders in One Day Rio Frio Cave – An hour-long jungle hike reveals native plants and their traditional uses before arriving at this vast limestone cave, carved by the river it's named for. Discover how the cave formed and its sacred significance to the ancient Maya. Rio On Pool – Swim in natural granite pools and cascades formed hundreds of millions of years ago, when tectonic activity pushed molten rock upward from beneath the sea, cooling into today's striking granite landscape. Big Rock Falls – A powerful waterfall plunges into a jungle swimming hole, with rocks perfect for cliff jumping. Millions of years of wind and rain carved this ancient stone into one of the region's tallest waterfalls. Geology, nature, and adventure unite for an unforgettable day in Belize's wild heart.
