The Kenai River is famous for its abundant Red (Sockeye) Salmon, which swim upstream to spawn each year. On some days, the river is so full of Reds that you can't cast without hooking one. While fishing from the shore is typical, we offer guided trips in our Willie Boats to a sandbar only accessed by boat for a prime fishing spot. Meeting and pickup
Please arrive at the Boat Launch 10 minutes before your trip begins. When you arrive, there will be a $5 parking fee per vehicle. Once parked, walk down to the boat launch and look for the boat with "The River Crew" on the side.
