Default route: Hakodate pickup → Goryokaku Park → Trappistine Convent → Onuma Quasi-National Park → Hakodate return. See the star-shaped Goryokaku fort, enjoy the peaceful public grounds of Trappistine Convent, and spend unhurried time walking beside Onuma’s lakes and forested islands with views toward Mt. Stop 1
Explore Hakodate’s famous star-shaped historic fort and enjoy a relaxed walk around Goryokaku Park. Guests may optionally visit Goryokaku Tower for a panoramic view of the five-pointed fort. Goryokaku Tower admission is not included. The current reference adult admission price is JPY 1,200. No skip-the-line admission is included.
Stop 2
Visit the peaceful public grounds of Japan’s first convent for women. Admire the distinctive brick architecture, landscaped garden, religious statues, and quiet surroundings. Only designated public areas and the front garden are accessible to visitors; this stop does not include an interior convent tour. Admission to the public area is free.
Stop 3
Spend the main part of the day at Onuma Quasi-National Park, known for its lakes, forested islands, walking paths, and views toward Mt. Komagatake. Enjoy a lakeside walk, photography, free time, and a self-paid lunch around the Onuma Park area. The stop is intentionally longer than the other sightseeing locations so guests can experience the natural surroundings at a relaxed pace. Optional seasonal activities such as sightseeing boats, cycling, canoeing, snow trekking, snowmobiling, or other third-party experiences are not included and are subject to season, weather, operating schedules, availability, and separate fees. 函館旅行ガイド Views of Mt.
