4.5 / 5 · 690 traveler reviews
This tour is especially recommended for nature lovers seeking an authentic and refined escape from the city. It is the combination of small-group service, flexible navigation options, and a Premium Semi-Private upgrade that allows you to experience the delta more intimately and comfortably. The experience includes a scenic cruise through the waterways of the Tigre Delta aboard a Premium boat. You may choose between a 2-hour navigation covering the northern area of Buenos Aires and the Delta’s narrow channels and islands, a 1-hour cruise focused on the heart of the delta, or a Premium Semi-Private option aboard a smaller vessel with limited passengers for a quieter and more exclusive atmosphere. While sailing, admire stilt houses, rowing clubs, and island life. In Tigre, enjoy an optional empanadas snack before strolling along Victorica Avenue and visiting the gardens surrounding the iconic Tigre Art Museum.
Your experience
Stop 1
Kick off your day with a 9 AM pickup, then head straight to the city’s port where a sleek, first-class motor launch awaits. Hop aboard and set sail on a 1.5-hour adventure across the Río de la Plata! Sit back, relax, and take in the stunning views of Buenos Aires’ skyline, its lush northern neighborhoods, and the winding waterways of the Tigre Delta—all while sipping on refreshing drinks and enjoying the ride.
Stop 2
Enjoy an optional snack at a local restaurant trying some hand-made empanadas. Be welcome to a sensory, friendly, fresh and natural environment located within one of the emblematic rowing clubs of the city of Tigre.
Stop 3
Next stop: the charming Puerto de Frutos! This lively little pier sits along the banks of the Luján River in the heart of Tigre. Back in the mid-20th century, it was the go-to spot for unloading fresh fruit from the Paraná Delta, which was then whisked off to Buenos Aires. Today, it's a vibrant marketplace where history meets local flavor—perfect for a stroll, some shopping, and soaking up the riverside vibes.
Stop 4
Take a leisurely stroll down Victorica Avenue, a scenic riverside promenade that hugs the banks of the Luján River. Along the way, enjoy the views, feel the breeze, and make your way toward the elegant gardens that frame two local gems: the Tigre Deliberative Council and the stunning Tigre Art Museum. It’s beauty, culture, and charm—all in one picturesque walk!
Stop 5
Back in 1909, a group of locals got together with a grand idea: to create a club where the community could come together to play sports, relax, and have a good time. But they didn’t stop there—they added a touch of European flair by including a stylish casino, making it the ultimate hotspot for fun and leisure in Tigre!
