We will start our tour in one of the most famous squares in town, where you will have a view of St Lawrence Church, a medieval church of the former free imperial city of Nuremberg. From here, you will take a walk across the southern part of the Mitte district with our Local Expert and have a taste of a staple of German cuisine: bretzels!
Stop 3
In the magic atmoshpere of this local medieval neighbourhood, where the houses are small and half-timbered, the streets are narrow and the artisans showcase their know-how, you will have a taste of one of the most famous dishes in town: Nuremberg Sausages. Deliciously grilled and of course served with a glass of Franconian beer. A regional favourite!
Stop 4
Have a seat in this charming restaurant near the house of the famous German painter Albrecht Dürer and try one of the most famous dishes in town: Schäufele! It's a slow-roasted, tender pork shoulder known for its rich flavor and crispy crust. We’re serving an original twist on this classic: pulled pork-style Schäufele! Simply unmissable
Stop 5
You will end the tour on a sweet note, indulging in one of the most delicious local desserts, the famous Lebkuchen. It's a traditional gingerbread that has been made in the city for centuries.
