Founded in the 14th century and later restored in the 19th century, the monastery blends spiritual heritage with remarkable natural beauty. The monastery is known for its peaceful atmosphere, panoramic views of the Yantra River gorge, and stunning frescoes by renowned Bulgarian artist Zahari Zograf.
