The Central Market of Valencia is a place of worship for foodies. A sacred temple in the heart of Ciutat Vella, where its merchants give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in that unusual world of flavors, colors and smells that we call the Mediterranean diet. It is the largest supply plaza in Europe with its more than 8,000 square meters and is on the list of the most beautiful markets in the world according to the British television station BBC. Although the building is just over 100 years old, the commercial tradition of the site where it is located dates from the years of a València under Muslim rule. That’s why it’s no wonder this enclave has become a magical space, full of curiosities, legends and many stories to tell.
